The aim of Our Friends Afar is to teach children that although we are all different and unique, we are all the same. It’s our belief that open-minded and empathetic children lead to a more peaceful, loving, and connected future. THIS is our goal!

Ten percent of profits from all Our Friends Afar sales will be donated to RAICES, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees. Did you know that immigrants facing deportation in immigration court do not have the right to a lawyer if they cannot afford one. No matter what your political views are, I am sure you feel the same: that is not okay; that is not America. I imagine you too are heartbroken for these separated families and children in detention centers. Hopefully our donations can play a role in helping these families and individuals.
